That’s why every eligible new and pre-owned vehicle purchase by an in-state customer includes our Metro Nissan 7-Day Exchange Policy — a straightforward program designed to give you added flexibility and peace of mind after you drive off the lot.

What the Metro Nissan 7-Day Exchange Policy Means for You

If you decide your vehicle isn’t the right fit, you may exchange it for another Pre-owned vehicle (ONLY) of equal or greater value within 7 calendar days of your original delivery date, subject to the terms and conditions below.

At your request, you will receive the original purchase price minus $1000 restocking fee, adjusted as outlined below, as trade value toward your next vehicle purchase. This value excludes tax, title, registration fees, documentation fees, finance charges, and any damage, and applies against the current selling price of a new or pre-owned vehicle in stock.

Exchange Qualification Requirements

To qualify for the Metro Nissan 7-Day Exchange Policy:

• The exchange must occur within 7 calendar days of the original delivery date.

• The purchase date is considered Day One.

• Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays count toward the seven-day period.

• If the seventh day falls on a day Metro Nissan of Indianapolis is closed, the vehicle may be returned on the next regular business day before 10:00 AM.

• The vehicle must have been purchased and physically taken delivery at Metro Nissan of Indianapolis.

• This program is only for Indiana residents and in-state purchases.

• Vehicles sold or delivered outside the State of Indiana are not eligible.

• Vehicles that are delivered by Metro Nissan of Indianapolis to a customer’s home, business, or other location are not eligible, even if the delivery is within Indiana.

• The vehicle must have less than 250 miles on the odometer since the time of delivery.

• The vehicle must have continuous insurance coverage throughout the exchange period.

Vehicle Condition Requirements

• The vehicle must be returned in the same mechanical and cosmetic condition as when purchased.

• Normal wear and tear is acceptable; excessive wear, damage, or neglect may disqualify the exchange.

• No reimbursement will be provided for repairs, maintenance, or improvements made to the vehicle prior to exchange.

• The vehicle must not have been involved in an accident, have undisclosed damage, or have any modifications or alterations.

Financing & Title Terms

• You must qualify for financing on the replacement vehicle if financing is involved.

• Any payoff or deficiency balance on the original vehicle must be satisfied.

• The customer holds the ultimate responsibility to provide clear title of the exchanged vehicle to Metro Nissan of Indianapolis.

• Approval on the original purchase does not guarantee approval on the replacement vehicle.

• All existing contractual obligations remain the customer’s responsibility until the exchange is complete.

Additional Terms & Conditions

• Only one 7-Day Exchange is allowed per customer per calendar year.

• Only the original purchaser or purchasers may return the vehicle.

• The exchange offer is not transferable, assignable, or exercisable by anyone else.

• This program does not apply to vehicles sold or delivered outside the State of Indiana.

• The original purchase price may be adjusted for any discounts, incentives, trade assistance, or trade over-allowance (the amount, if any, by which the trade allowance exceeded the documented actual cash value of the trade) as part of the original transaction.

• The purchase price is for the vehicle only and does not include tax, title, registration fees, documentation fees, finance charges, aftermarket products, or dealer-installed accessories.

• Exchanges apply to new and pre-owned vehicle purchases only and must be exchanged into another new or pre-owned vehicle of equal or greater value in stock.

How to Start an Exchange

1. Contact our Sales or Guest Services team to discuss your exchange eligibility and available inventory.

2. Bring the vehicle to Metro Nissan of Indianapolis within the 7-day period and with less than 250 additional miles.

3. Our team will review vehicle condition, mileage, insurance, financing, and title status to finalize eligibility.

4. If approved, you can select another new or pre-owned vehicle of equal or greater value, and we will complete the necessary paperwork.
